Domestication of animals

Domestication of animals started long time ago. Every animal was used with certain purposes. A lot of time passed and nowadays nobody remembers that a cat was wild once and that a dog is a predator by its nature.

Domestication played important role in the life of people as thanks to it, people have the possibility to eat meat, to drink milk, to communicate with animals, to find real friends among their pets and not to feel lonely. Animals are also guarders of people's homes and souls.

According to some people domestication is a cruel process as animals loose their essence and become people-like. Nowadays even most exotic animals were domesticated and are kept at home as pets.

You may find any animal in modern houses you would like to see. People keep spiders, snakes, different kinds of reptiles, insects and of course mammals.

From ancient times people used horses to travel at long distances. Horse was the transport for people and was the most expensive animal at that time. And when first means of transport appeared horses didn't loose their popularity, as they were used to give a ride to tourists and as a hobby. Competitions are also held in riding horses. And of course almost every country has the riding horse policemen.
